Playing with Balls

23 02 2007

I mean basketballs.

Anyway, our PE class was all about shooting free throws. You had to shoot two in a row, or you had to start again. XD

My old classmates would LAUGH at this – but, hey, half of the class (I’m not in that half) doesn’t know how to play, or to shoot.

The class was split into two – the tall guys and the small guys (wih the girls). The latter could take two steps closer to the net, which was kinda unfair since some of the good players were in that side. XD

I was in the tall group, and I finished (duh, I know how to shoot!)

Well, there were some guys who didn’t hit two in a row on the line, and they were pressured to pack up as another section was going to use the court, so some of them shot two steps closer to the ring. (I don’t know who those guys were).

Anyway, I wish that there would be a game on Wednesday. I need to improve my sucky basketball skills. XD

Post-Valentine’s Day

17 02 2007

Okay.. some people said things were quite bitin on V-Day. Because of the achievement tests (two 2-unit subjects, dammit…)

But I think some good friend of mine gave something to his crush (of course, he always does that whenever there’s an important event). LOL

Well, as for me, I didn’t get anything material (duh!) but I did get three hugs. :D

Anyway… yesterday, for PE, we got to play soccer since the softball teacher was absent and no one was using the field. I learned that I suck at playing goalie, thus the game ended at 1-all (because of me). D:

Oh, and there were some people who proved that you don’t need Valentine’s Day to show love. You know, I saw someone with his crush yesterday, and then I saw a couple tailing them. LOL

Valentine’s Day

13 02 2007

Valentine’s Day tomorrow! Hehe…

Some people are excited, some are pissed because they have to review for a test tomorrow, some are too torpe, and others are feeling lonely because they’re the only ones with nothing to do (besides the test). Me?

Let’s cite examples of each case (not real life, but maybe close):

1) Guy wants to give flowers to a girl on Valentine’s. He gets close to her the day before so that he wouldn’t feel uncomfortable when it’s time to make a move. Does this seem real enough?

2) Guy wants to give chocolates to a girl on Valentine’s. He’s got the chocolate, but he doesn’t have the grades! (Say both of his grades in English and Math are dos!)

3) Guy wants to give something to a girl on Valentine’s. However, he’s scared because the whole school knows his crush – well, except for the girl herself – and if he does that something worse might happen, like being headlined in the class magazine his class is making. Hehe!

4) Guy who has the dilemma of whether he likes anyone or not, seeing that everyone else is prepared for Valentine’s. Even if his friend (who’s a girl) tells him to give something to a certain girl, he doesn’t feel like it. So he just goes home and crams his Drafting plate three.

Do you feel like any one of those four poor guys? Well… I just wish you luck :P

The last one is very green, hehe.

Final Rex Battle –

9 02 2007

The last time we’ll ever have Rex is coming – it maybe anytime. And we’ve got a powerful enemy. (And people wish there was an intersection battle…)

It’s hard to form alliances in Diamond, though. I mean, everyone wants that victory point, the EPs, and the fame. (We haven’t destroyed Sir even once…)

So, guys, come on, this is probably the last battle we’ll ever have that involves powerful mechas against big scary Death Star-like… things. Haha.

Cast off the Crutch that Kills the Pain

I got my report card yesterday. My average is 1.546 - it went up. Hehehe…

In other news… I got a new LSS!

Wheeeeeee….

29 01 2007

Finally… we got through our play… it was fun (though it meant more than 20 minutes of holding up the backdrop) and everyone loved it. (Especially Gino’s death scene… XD)

And then… there was our stargazing… it was fun… I mean, staying up for 27 hours in some place other thatn your home. Well, at least I didn’t forget to brush my teeth :P lol

Now, there’s another class project coming. I guess I’ll be contributing:

1) An album review (of course, it’s obvious what album it is) and

2) An editorial (about a subject that all teenagers have to face)

Hopefully, Mr. Class Treasurer/Editor-In-Chief will accept my writings. Hehehe…

About YMSAT

24 01 2007

Well, do you know what YMSAT is?

It’s the Youth Math, Science, and Technology thing held every year towards the end of the school year. They include such things as exhibits (the usual) and activities for both Pisay and other students.

But I’m not talking about science here. I’m talking about…

Water guns.

Well, what do you do with water guns? You wet people with them.

So, yeah – this gun battle that has ensued for two (or three) days.

Anyway, it was fun wetting people – especially those whose guns won’t work.

And it was fun getting wet myself, though sometimes others would fire at my pants. LOL

Anyway…

In other news, I learned from Ma’am Capundag that my GWA is 1.546. Hopefully, it isn’t wrong – it’s already higher than Paul’s. LOL

Edit: Stupidly forgot about this. Good luck to Diamond and Emerald for the play!

“Couples”

21 01 2007

It’s nearing Valentines Day, you know.

So, a good topic for a blog post would be about “romantic” relationships forming between guys and girls in school.

It’s not that there’s a ban on that, but we still have much to learn, being First Years and all.

I wish I could enumerate all the couples I see at school everyday, but some people are gonna get offended. You know,  I remember someone who asked me who the people involved were, and I mentioned the person’s name as part of the couples…

And besides, I couldn’t even “confirm” if “sila na nga“, although it’s easy to see if they’re doing PDAs and stuff, it’s harder to find out whether those actually mean something.

Wait a minute… what does “couples” mean anyway? For me, it simply means “two people who like each other, or maybe one likes the other and one doesn’t mind being with him/her”.

With the first (the stricter) definition alone, a certain couple comes to mind (but I’m not mentioning it because it involves the person I mentioned above).

With the second definition, I see…. one… two… three… four…. more couples…

But of those couples I’m only sure that one actually likes the other.

And a lot of those are familiar people in love-hate relationships.

Okay, let’s say you think having a relationship is great because it you think it makes you more “mature”. Let’s say you’re a guy, and your parents don’t really mind about relationships as long as they don’t go out of hand.

Now, we have this girl. You like her very much, she likes you very much. But there’s a problem. She came from an exclusive school, meaning her parents don’t really like her doing any stuff with guys that goes beyond friendships (stereotypical exclusive school girl parents, hehe.)

So, what do you do? Call off the relationship (painful to both of you), hide it from your parents (though still obvious to others), or just hide it and just show your affections to her in someplace secret?

It’s not about secrecy, really – it’s about how you can handle it. I mean, if you really really like her, and you want to marry her (uhuh,) can you go steady with her for, say, five years? And you’re just a First Year high school student? I don’t think so. The odds that she’ll become pregnant before that time are much higher.

Just one thing to say… If you have a relationship with someone at this young an age…

Good luck.
